Sawbones - Maja

Okay, so...
I'm doing this because Millies doing one on Dracula so... Yeah...
Sawbones is great so far, love the mystery and suspense so far!
My hands go all floppy at the parts were they're cutting up bodies (He had to shout over the sound of metal on bone, this isn't an exact quote)
I really want to know what happened to Loveday's father, and that tongue-les dead guy who had a tattoo and was shot in the back.
I didn't know what a cadaver was until I read this book! In-case you don't it means corpse!
By the way a book you should most certainly, definitely read The Wells Bequest!
I'm not bothered to do a review for it (yet?), but, if you nag me enough I might do one!

IF CHRISSY (CHRISTINE) IS READING THIS THEN HELLO!

And now (sadly) goodbye:,(

Dracula - Millie

I just thought I'd quickly write about what I'm reading right now. I'm reading Dracula, which is surprisingly gripping. I thought I'd find something written in the 1800s a bit tedious but it's actually really good. It seems more modern than I thought it would be. Probably because it was written in the really late 1800s - in fact, I think it was written in 1897. I'll keep reading it and maybe do a review when I'm done.

Maja's Introduction!

Hey y'all!

If you'd read the past intro's you'd know why I'm doing a separate one so no use explaining!
The reason why we did this blog is so that we could write about the books we are passionate about.
I'm more of a bookaholic\bookholic\bookic\bibliophile than Milly\Milla\Milli\... but it's probably best not to say that to her, actually, she won't mind.
Speaking of her not\minding; I probably should have put the We-look-alike-but-don't-tell-Milly-or-she'll-bite-your-head-of in this post...

Some of the books that inspired us to do this blog are:
  • The Rithmatist!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! (What? It's AMAZINGLY AWESOMELY GLORIFYING!)
  • Wildwood
  • The Secret Kingdom
  •  The Chaos Walking Series (On behalf of Milly, I only read the first book)
  • Brisingr
  • Inheritance
  • And last but DEFINITELY NOT least Maja And Millie's Awesome Stories!
Okay, okay, I admit, that last one does not exist (at least WE haven't read it), but I wish it did.

I'm bored so,
BYE!

Millie's Introduction

Hello there! My name's Millie and and I'm doing my own introductory blog post as well as our shared one... basically because we couldn't agree on what to write in the previous one, and it was too much work, so not worth it to delete it. My sister's also going to do her own introductory post so we'll have three in the end!

Okay, on with it properly.

This blog is going to be about words, books, stories and anything related. We'll be doing some reviews too. Remember, if you want us to review a specific children's/ YA book, you can tell us and we'll try to get hold of it.

In case you're wondering, Millie is short for a longer name. You can spell Millie, "Milly," too, or, "Mili," or, "Milli." Basically, however you want because I don't mind. Even, "Milee." "Mileee," might be going a bit far though.

Since you're going to be reading (And following? Hint hint) my book blog, you ought to know my favourite book. My favourite book is, "Monsters Of Men," by Patrick Ness. It's in the, "Chaos Walking," series. And of course, I'd love to know your favourite book/ s. You can post it in the Comments section?

Introduction\Why We Made This Blog!

Hello fellow word lovers!

Even if you don't love words yet, hopefully this blog will still be entertainment for you.
We are two girls from London (in England), we share a love of words, books, reading, writing and all things of that nature.
This blog is about anything to do with writing and that kinda stuff.
If you'd like us to review a children's\young-adult book you can comment on one of our entries and we'll do a review for it.
Milly is really formal so it isn't my fault that most of this stuff sounds really... Um... Strict.
Sorry about the dot, dot, dots.
By the way I'm funnier than Milly.
In-case you're wondering, our ages at the moment are:
13 years old -  Milly
10 years old, Maja (pronounced MI-ya).
I read more than Milly BTW.
One of our favourite bands is Skillet BTW.
BTW we've been learning how to play the drum-kit and the djembe drums, (Milly does some dun-dun as well).
BTW we both have our own different blogs...
If you don't know that I am head over heals in love with books then you might as well not know me.
BTW sorry about the BTW's...

Okay, a bit more background information:

- Milly has another blog, called, "When I'm Inspired," about things she does as a home-schooler, and things she does anyway.

- Maja's other blog is called, "What I Write, What I Make."

- We're both on Google+.

- Yes, we're both home-schooled, shut up, yes you read that right, no we're not weirdos or socially isolated or anything; if you have to know, we're homeschooled so that we can LEARN ABOUT WHAT WE CHOOSE NOT JUST WHAT A RANDOM TEACHER WANTS US TO LEARN ABOUT. If you want more info about that, no, my job is not to give it to you; we have much better things to do with our lives, but if you're desperate to know, head to this site. Okay, got that over with (I'm so tired of explaining to people) phew!

- Milly speaking - The reason why this post seems so disjointed/irritating is because both of us (Milly and Maja) are writing. Some of the stuff that Maja has written, I may not agree with, and vice versa but we're trying not to, "Correct," each other too much, as that leads to pointless squabbles. We're aware that there are some grammatical/spelling errors, but seeing as this is a joint blog post, we don't want to be fighting for the keyboard/arguing about what's right/wrong, so we've just left things how they are. We keep taking turns to write a sentence, not always one after the other, so right now this post seems a bit chaotic. But remember, no endless corrections!

In a moment I (Milly) am going to do my own intro, and vice versa with Maja.
